It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Mikovetz of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on October 6, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Mikovetz and Mary Mikovetz; his sisters, Emily Mock (John) and Margaret Swets (Vernon "Bud"); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Sarbon (Virgil) and Howard Keen.

He is survived by: his wife Irene (Keen); his children, Mitzi Sawalski, Marla Metros (Jim), Mike Mikovetz (Audrey) and Mindy Miller; his grandchildren, Jason Pierce, Angie Moore, Nicolas Sawalski, Makenzie Miller (Jerry Jackson), Michael Mikovetz and David Miller; his great grandchildren, Emma, Elijah and Weston; and his siblings-in-law, Eva Johnson, Donna Baker (Ken) and Leo Keen (late Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
