It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christy Kay Carpenter of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Christy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Christy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parent Williard Palmateer. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Webdell; her stepmother Linda Palmateer; her sisters, Cindy, Cheryl and Carrie; and her children, Andy Carpenter (Rachiel), Allison Conroy (Matt) and Lexie Robinson (Doug). She is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Christy's honor.
