David Rangel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Rangel of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on February 10, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Meliton and Anamaria; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Mary Sawyer; and his siblings-in-law, George H. Smith Jr. (Sonia), Raymond Sawyer II (Judy), Thomas Sawyer (Mary), Judy Sawyer (Raymond) and Mary Sawyer (Thomas).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rangel (Sawyer); his children, David Rangel (Leanne), Tina Torrez (Juan) and Elizabeth Avila; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Anthony, Andrew, Madalyn Rangel, Alessandra, Christopher Torrez, Brianna and Mateo Avila; his siblings, Sonia Smith, Gloria Young (Daniel) and Daniel Rangel (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Sawyer (Maria), Deborah Watters (Hugh) and Diane Sawyer (Gary Jannusch). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
