It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon James Wisniewski of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Deacon James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Kathleen Wisniewski and Maryann Buczkowski; his nephews, Gregory (Stacey) and Michael; and his great-nieces, Elizabeth, Mary and Angela.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
