He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Cox and Merle Cox; his brother-in-law Jim Kaczka; his mother-in-law Ann Hora; his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law David Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Cox; his children, Timothy Mantel (Elizabeth) and Megan Waters (Jim); his siblings, Donna Schreiber (Earl), Nancy Kaczka (late Jim), Ronald Cox (Renee) and Dennis Cox; his uncle Robert Reickhoff (Karin); his brother-in-law Chris Hora (Kathleen); and his cousin Valerie MacCartney. He is also survived by loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
