He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard VanMeter and Una VanMeter; and his sisters, Marlene and Gloria. He is survived by: his wife Dana VanMeter; and his children, Kimberly Fussnecker, Donald V. VanMeter (Jennifer), Lisa Rogers (Dan) and Don "Guido" VanMeter (Bobbie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
