With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ferdynand Bajgrowicz of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Ferdynand may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Bajgrowicz; his parents, Jozef Bajgrowicz and Franciszka Bajgrowicz; and his son-in-law Steve Burkus. He is survived by: his children, Richard Bajgrowicz (Bernadette) of Tucson, AZ, Liz Burkus of Sterling Heights, MI and John Bajgrowicz (Natalia). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine (5755 Pennsylvania St, Merrillville, IN 46410).
