He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Sapyta and Eva Sapyta; his wife Evelyn Sapyta; and his siblings, Walter Sapyta, John Sapyta, Julie Hightower, Helen Conley, Mary Brink, Stanley Sapyta, Sophie Kornas, Caroline Smith, Jennie Gordon, Ann Eubanks and James Sapyta.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Sapyta (Jamie) of Las Vegas, NV and Susan Priest (Carey) of Oswego, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
