With sadness, we share the passing of Gladys Roberta Marchese in Crown Point, Indiana. Gladys, born on February 12, 1939 in Gadsden, Alabama, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene "Jimmy" Marchese; her son Scott Marchese; and her sister Carrie Potocki. She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Marchese, Thomas Marchese and James Marchese (Dominica); her grandchildren, Jessica Baker (Eric), Anthony Marchese (Christy), Michael Marchese (Suzanne), Larissa Melf (Jeremy), Melody Dickeson (Andy), Lesli Marchese, Taylor Putman (Dustin), Angelique Harris (Brian) and Samantha Hudak (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Noah, Addison, Bristol, Hazel, Patrick, Caitlyn, Leyani, David, Alida, Kaelyn and Amelia; and her brother Vernon Dolberry (Susan). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
