She was predeceased by: her parents, James Novak and Genevieve Novak; her grandparents, Joseph and Helen Ryfa; her godmother Alice Ryfa; and her grandmother Anna Novak.
She is survived by: her husband Ray W. Carden, Jr.; her daughter Rachel Turbin (Les); and her sisters, Pamela Lieberenz (John), Cynthia Northrop (Dennis) and Lori K. Novak (John). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
