James Riley Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 15, 2026, at the age of 82, James Riley of Crown Point, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Amber Dykes, Nicholas Spencer and Brendan Black; his siblings, Richard Riley (Norma), John Riley and Rebecca Huffman; and his parents, Cecil Riley and Florence Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Riley; his children, Rebecca Yoder (Patrick), Tracy Louie (Russell), Michele Moffett (Todd), Jayne Spencer (Jim), Karin Kolisz (late Greg), Henry Bult (Lynn), Michael Rupprecht and James Rupprecht; his grandchildren, Kylee Black, Nathan Dykes, Matthew Spencer, Jena Penno, Chris Moffett, Chelsea Gianotti, Jordyn Jen, Peter Bult, Alex Moffett, Maxwell Yoder and Ben Peters; his siblings, Jerry Riley (Cindy) and Carol Allen (late Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Barb Riley and Doug Huffman. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Jim's name to Ascera Care Hospice.
