It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan L. O'Hare of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur J. O'Hare; her son Daniel O'Hare; and her parents, Marvin Neilson and Vida Neilson. She is survived by: her children, Timothy O'Hare (Patricia) and Kelli Nissan (Michael); her grandchildren, Matthew O'Hare (Crystal), Timothy M. "Mike" O'Hare, Megan Hernandez (Jim), Tyler and Dylan Nissan; her great grandchildren, Hailey O'Hare, Bodevan, Veda and Eliza Hernandez; and her partner Jerry Schwaller.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
