He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Hevezi; his parents, James Hevezi and Margaret Hevezi; his sister Margaret Hevezi; and his nephews, Mark and Michael Hevezi.

He is survived by: his siblings, James Hevezi, Joseph Hevezi (Sharon), Louis Hevezi (Patricia), Alex Hevezi (Tina), Chuck Hevezi, Mary Hieke, Rose Long (Thomas), Elizabeth Deloera and Kathy Patz (Dave); and his nephew Andrew Weede. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
