He was predeceased by: his significant other Ann Jaeger; his siblings, Vincent, Daniel 'Moose' and Marian Grace; and his parents, Carmello Vecchio and Rose Vecchio.

He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Korcha (late William) and Linda Crider (Robert); his grandchildren, Suzanne Bukur (Mike), John Augsburger (Irene), Tammy Gordon (Tom), Jeff Augsburger, Richard Barkauskas and Joseph Gambril (Julie); his great grandchildren, Corin Grugel (Dan), TJ Gordon (Chelsey), Anna Cartwright (Andrew), Angela Bukur (Dan), Zachary Gordon, Michael Bukur, Mia Augsburger, Natalie Augsburger and Peyton Gambril; his great great grandchild Vayda Grugel; and his siblings, Mildred, Lucille and John. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
