Josephine M. Rios Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine M. Rios (Crown Point, Indiana), born in Chillicothe, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lopez and Buda Lopez; her siblings, Geraldine Castro, Joe "Sonny" Lopez and Genevieve Stenger; and her granddaughter Deana M. Rios.

She is survived by: her husband Benjamin J. Rios; and her sons, Joseph R. Anguiano (Brenda) and Jerry F. Rios (Evelyn). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Due to the current conditions of Covid-19, services and burial will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

“In loving memory of Josephine Mary Rios, Grandma, oh God how much I love you. So much of yourself was given to me and my brothers and sister. From arriving back to your home from California to planting cilantro, mint, and veggies on the side of the garage. The Love of the Lord, you gave me along with Grandpa and Granny Goose still dwells in me and will never leave me. I thank you,for instilling in me your morals, respect, and your Love. Grandma, you are dearly loved. So sadly missed. God bless.”
