It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Mae Miazga of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Lewis; her parents, Franklin Elrod and Elizabeth Elrod; and her sisters, Florabelle Tuttle (William) and Evelyn Blanchard (George).

She is survived by : her children, Lewis Miazga, Jr., William C. Miazga (late Georgia) and Susan Shockley (Rick); her grandchildren, Louise, Amy, Rick (Jessica), Misty (Chris) and Christina (Marcin); her great grandchildren, Haley, Alison, Brooklynn, Jack and Ava; and her sisters, Frankie Raboin (late Bud) and Helen Danko (late Bob). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Josephine's name to Holy Martyrs Catholic Church.
