We announce the death of Judith Ann Janicki of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 82. Judith Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jocko" Janicki; her brothers, Richard and Casimer Dauksza; and her parents, Casimer Dauksza and Sophie Dauksza.
She is survived by: her son Gregory Janicki; her grandchildren, Dakota and McKenzie Janicki; her niece Karen Hladek; her cousin Sharon Gamblin; her pets, Autumn, Chorizo, Willow and Marlee; Barb Aneston.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (321 E Joliet St, Crown Point, IN 46307).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Judith's name may be made to the family.
