Lucille M. Basista Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 104, Lucille M. Basista of Crown Point, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Basista; her sisters, Connie Lopez and Delores Sendra; and her parents, Stanley Kawczynski and Lucille Kawczynski.
She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence Basista (Mary Ann) and Robert Basista (JoAnn); her grandchildren, Scott Basista (Erica), David Basista, Eric Basista (Erinn) and Karen Munas (Tom); and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Avery Basista, Hailey, Taylor Basista, Henry and Samantha Munas. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
