Marie (Halfman) M. Myres Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 16, 2020, at the age of 94, Marie (Halfman) M. Myres in Crown Point, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her significant other Leon Myres; her son Dennis; and her sisters, Grace Keilman (Halfman) and Agnes Scheidt (Halfman). She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth (Deborah) of Richardson and Paul (Constance) of Crown Point, Indiana; her grandchildren, Christopher, Teresa Myres of Crown Point, Erin, Joshua Newman of Dallas, Matthew Myres of Austin, Megan, Austen Salomone of Oklahoma City, Melissa Myres and Grant Springman of Elmhurst, Illinois.; her siblings, Therese Sims of St. John, Indiana, Daniel (Agnes Halfman), David (Annette Halfman), Jerry (Joan Halfman) and Harold (Margie Halfman); and her close friends, Kathy Nuzzo and Sharon Kramer. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of Marie's life and Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Masses can be said at St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Mathias Catholic Church in Crown Point, Indiana.
