In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Myrna leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Myrna may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Askins and Lorene Askins; and her brother Charles Askins. She is survived by: her husband Rex M. Wilson; her children, Terry Wilson (Kendall), Charles Wilson (Sharon) and Yolonda Pierce (Jerry Sawa); and her brother Ray Askins. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Myrna's name to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Foundation.
