He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gipson Sr. and Malissa Gipson; his wife Barbara Gipson; and his sister Katherine Gipson. He is survived by: his daughters, Gayle Gipson and Melissa McCollum (Rodney); his grandchildren, Jada, Myles, Camryn and Carsyn; his siblings, Walter Gipson Jr., Larry Gipson (Shirley), Anthony Gipson (Andrea), Estelle Henley (James) and Marion Demps; and his close friend Charles Grinston.
Nate will be remembered as a selfless, steady presence — a wonderful neighbor, trusted friend, dedicated family man, and loving daddy and papa.
