With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis J Long in Crown Point, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Tylisz and Harriet A. Tylisz (Nowak); and her husband Willard C. Long. She is survived by: her children, Scott Schliephake (Donna), Ross, Schiephake, Marie VanSickle (Kevin), Terri Miller (Dave), Brian Long (Brenda) and Michael Long (Lynn); and her brother Gene Tylisz (Carol). She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Michiana Humane Society.
