He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Harbit and Wanza Harbit; his wife JoAnn; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Osojnicki (Matt), Rick Harbit (Pam) and Linda Seegers (Steve); his grandchildren, Rick Harbit Jr. (Brittany), Matthew (Kyli), Danny Osojnicki (Katelyn), Brittney Otten (Steven), Ashlyn Ballas (Nathan), Drew Wheeler (Lauren) and Thomas Osojnicki; and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Wyatt, Mackenzie, Olivia, Briley, Matthew, Austin, Ashley, Brooklyn and James.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Calumet Area.
