It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Alan Klavas of Crown Point, Indiana is shared. Richard, born on July 14, 1952, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Klavas and Eugenia Klavas. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Allison (Matt), Kristin (Jason) and Kelly; his grandchildren, Savannah, Joshua of Tyler, A. J. and Brennan; his great grandchild Luca; and his siblings, Robert Klavas (Sarah), Ronald Klavas (Jana) and Patricia Moench (Richard).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Geisen Funeral homes (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Richard's name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
