He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Waisnora and Iona Waisnora. He is survived by: his wife Debra Waisnora; his stepchildren, Brenna Armstrong (Scott) of Carmel, IN, Sara Pratt (Mark) of Fishers, IN and Lauren Pippenger (Matt) of Fishers, IN.; his grandchildren, Jack, Amelia, Eleanor, Cate, Claudia and Olive; and his siblings, Paul Waisnora (Mary Kay), Michael Waisnora, Laura Samano (Larry) and Paula Oderwald (Bob). He is also survived by 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Ron's name to Trinity Lutheran Church of Crown Point or to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana.
