With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose M. Oljace (Crown Point, Indiana), who passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carol J. Staley (Welch) and James A. Staley Sr.; her sister Debra J. Powell; her in-laws, Marilyn Oljace (Jarabines) and Richard W. Oljace; her brother-in-law Marcus Jordan; her grandparents, George, Margaret Welch, Elsie and Edward Staley; her pet Capo; and also Zag.
She is survived by: her husband Robert T. Oljace Sr.; her stepmother Barbara Staley (late James); her siblings, James A. Staley Jr. (Helen) and Linda Jordan (late Marcus); her siblings-in-law, Richard Oljace (Karen), William Oljace (Chris), Ronald Powell (Tracey), Sandy Saffa (Ron), Mary Beth York (Randy) and Diane Tamalunas (Kevin); and her close friend Lisa Kracich (late Rick).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the William J. Riley Memorial Residence, continuing Rose's legacy of generosity and community spirit.
