He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Ann Molden; and his parents, John Molden and Edith Molden. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Molden (Angie) and Russell H. Molden (Annemarie Miranda); his grandchildren, Benjamin Molden, Brooke Molden, Elisabeth Miranda and Courtney Bickett; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Owen, Leoncio, Evan and Ari.
