It is with sadness that the passing of Teresa M. Nowinski of Crown Point, Indiana is shared. Teresa passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Teresa will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Teresa by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Teresa is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Teresa’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Loda and Nora Loda; and her brother Jerry Loda. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Nowinski (Alison) and Brian Nowinski (Tricia); and her grandsons, Adam, Aidan and Joshua.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home (14 Kennedy Ave, Schererville, IN 46375). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (1 W Wilhelm St, Schererville, IN 46375).
