He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Pfeifer and Mildred Pfeifer; his grandson Aaron; and his siblings, John, William, James, Mildred, Susan, Henrietta and Nancy.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue Pfeifer; his children, Pamela McHenry (John), Patricia Ponce (Mario) and Thomas Pfeifer (Melinda); his grandchildren, Nathan, Caitlyn, Jonathan, Tristan, Cameron and Aiden; and his siblings, Rich Pfeifer (Jane) and Joann Dean (James). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Thomas's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
