He is survived by: his children, Vicki Jutte (Roger) of Placitas, NM, Mike Silaghi (Lori) of Louisville, KY and Karen Wachowski (Jim) of Valparaiso, IN; and his grandchildren, Nick Lyman of Valparaiso, IN and Logan Wachowski of Valparaiso, IN..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Gregory Shapen Memorial Chapel (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
