He is survived by: his children, Deborah McGovern (John) of Plano, IL, Michael Palmer (Sue) of Plano, IL, Bruce Palmer (Cindy) of Chicago Heights, IL, Lynn Crotty (Roger Sizemore) of Lowell, IN and Kimberly Campbell (Robert Alvarado) of Crown Point, IN.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). The military honors will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
