He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Day; and his son Christopher Day. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Day (Sue) and Kevin Day (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Brandon Day, Zachary Day, Carson Day, Hannah Culver (Matt), Gabrielle Hendrickson (Parker) and Ella Day; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Noelle, Killian, Kiera, Evelyn and Christopher; and his significant other Patricia Alonzo. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307).
