She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Swedersky and Lelah Swedersky (Mills); her husband Albert Eugene Harris; her siblings, Norman Swedersky, Mary Garrison and Arlene Gerke; and her grandson Michael Kala.

She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Kala of Crown Point, IN and Kathleen Van Tassell of Terry, MS; her grandchildren, Heather Kala, Sean Harris and Dein Fly; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Kala, Kutara Harris, Layne Harris, Carson Harris and Walker Fly. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol's name to the church.
