He is survived by: his children, Colleen Hughes (Jim) of South Bend, Janine Grimmer of Jasper, Larry Neland (Sharon) of North Liberty and Michael Neland (Julia) of South Bend; and his grandchildren, Dawn Lee, Lee Neland (Raquel), Michelle Whitmer (Shane), Joshua Neland (Elizabeth), Alyssa Neland, Stephanie, Melissa Hughes, Chris Grimmer (Mary) and Keith Grimmer.
