He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hirsch and Matilda Hirsch; and his siblings, Vince, Virginia, Valera, Vivian, Charles, Joe, Ralph, Bob, Bill and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Mae Hirsch (Wagner); his children, Terrie Weaver (Bob), Gary Hirsch (Lisa), Judy Susott (Glen), Julie Menke (Lonnie) and Tim Hirsch (Melissa Smith); his grandchildren, Crystal Weaver, Lyndsey Tindle (Jake), Michael Hirsch, Candice Burns, Shelly Fleenor (Steve), Jason Susott, Kristen Fern (Josh), Hailey Hagen (Andrew), Tori Hirsch, Lily Hirsch and Mattia Ruminer; his sister Glenna Polz; and his pet Lily. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home (500 E Park St, Fort Branch, IN 47648). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (211 N Vine St, Haubstadt, IN 47639). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery (211 N Vine St, Haubstadt, IN 47639).
