He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Voegel and Betty Voegel (Montgomery); his brothers, Jeff and Jim Voegel; his grandson Jake Wilson; and his close friend Judy Risley.

He is survived by: his daughter Trisha Ann; the mother of his child Linda Crawford; his grandson Jett Ray Alvey; his brothers, Kim and Keith Voegel; his nephew Brian Voegel (Andria); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Millissa, Elijah, Cheyanne Voegel and Dakota Wasson; his niece Shannan Crews (Justin); his nieces, Jaime Voegel and Lisa Beth; Barrett.
