He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Vernon Wertman and Virginia Lee Wertman (Evans); his wife Donna Rae Wertman; his daughter Starr Michelle Wertman; his stepmother Cara Ella Wertman; his brother Walter Wertman; and his stepbrother James Hayden.
He is survived by: his sons, Nathan Wertman (Kathy) of Evansville and Simon Wertman (Amanda) of Winslow; his grandchildren, Chloe, Lincoln, Michaela and Theodore Wertman; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Wertman.
