It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Darrell Powers Sr. of Dale, Indiana, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie and Mildred (Hesson); his wife Doris Jean Powers; his children, Jerry Powers, Daniel Powers, Carrah Volz and Aaron Powers; and his sister Lois Jean Byers.
He is survived by: his children, Roland Darrell Powers, Jr. (Jodean), Cheryl Torstenson (Trent), Carol Prickett (David) and David Powers (Brandee); and his siblings, Sissy Brewster, Charles Powers and Linda Benthimer. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
