Mary Vandevender Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 27, 2026, at the age of 92, Mary Vandevender of Dana, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Ramsey and Ruth Evelyn Ramsey (Sheffield); her husband Charles; her son Tom Vandevender; and her brother Louis Ramsey.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hoyt of Georgetown, Illinois, Don Vandevender of Dana, Indiana and Carl Vandevender of Lafayette, Indiana; her sisters, Elaine Ramsey of New Mexico and Doris Butts of Belleville, Illinois.; her grandsons, Robby Crain of Nashville and Robert Lamb (Angela) of Dana, Indiana; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Dylan and Willow Lamb.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer fond memories and stories of Mary to be shared and her legacy of love to be continued.
