He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Grubbs, and Wilma Grubbs, Sr. (Radcliff); his former wife Jean Grubbs; and his sisters, Margaret, Evelyn, Arvina and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Grubbs; his sons, Ralph Grubbs of Knoxville, TN, Lewis Grubbs of Danville, IN and John Grubbs (Teresa) of Clayton, IN; his sister Gloria Wright of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Tyler Grubbs (Melissa), Shelby Alexander and Elizabeth Smith (Dalton); and his great grandchild Hugo Grubbs.
