He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sayre and Charlene Sizemore; his stepmother Virginia Freeman; his daughter Charlene Baker; his sister Ernestine McKinley; and his half-siblings, Chuck, Jimmy Sayre, Ruth Sayre Franco and Carol Sue Sayre Vass.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Baker; his children, Kathleen Baker-Stringfellow of Avon, Melodie Baker of Speedway, Malcolm Baker (Audra Krug) of Denver, CO and Amanda Lynn Stephenson (Randy Dinwiddie) of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Loretta Buck, Rose Kirstein (Klaus), Gary Sayre (Caroline) and John Sayre. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
