Michael is survived by: parents, Todd Preecs and Valerie Preecs; sisters, Miranda and Cassandra Collier (Will); and nieces and nephews, Emery and Vincent. Michael is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; and paternal grandparents.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Helton & Harris Funeral Home-Danville (102 S Indiana St, Danville, IN 46122). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
