She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Montgomery Blackmore and Sally Ann Hassell (Hoskins); and her husband James Leroy Rutledge. She is survived by: her children, Angela Lacey of Louisville, KY., Brian Rutledge (Kelly) of Danville, Clint Rutledge of Danville and Justin Rutledge of Speedway; her siblings, Barbara Ducas (Brent) of South Carolina, Linda Leeke (Craig) of Zionsville, Doug Hassell of Hawaii and Lisa George of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Brock (Mary), Austin (Sam), Brittany (Kevin), Morgan (Joseph), Shelby (Austin), Rylan, Dalton (Morgan) and Joeleigh; her great grandchildren, Landon, Danny, Emma, Baylie, Lillian, Emersyn, Ensley, Ryder, Austyn, Rhylee and Tate; and her close friend Gary Fleming.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post #118 (846 S State Rd 39, Danville, IN 46122). Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (387 E Broadway St, Danville, IN 46122).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Danville American Legion Post #118.
