He is survived by: his son Gavin Sterling; his parents, James "Jim" Sterling and Shelby Ridner (Agnew); his brother Joshua Ridner; his stepmother Ruth Ann Sterling; his grandmother Gaytha Ashmore; and his great-grandparent Betty J. Hart of Brownsburg.
