He is survived by : his wife Kathy Sampson; his daughter Kristy Haase of Scottsdale, AZ; his siblings, Cathy Hunt, Kim Easton, Tammy Baker, Billy Haase, Jerry Haase, Mike Haase and Johnny Haase; his niece Misty Boyle; his nephews, Ernie Scott, Matthew Brown and Jacob Corenflos; and his pet Zoey.

Memorials in Steve's name may be made to the Bismarck Lions Club.
