She is survived by: her children, Velta King (Charles) and Robert Smith (Shannon); her grandchildren, Jason Smith, Anthony Mangus (Jessica), Jessica Moore (Anthony) and Emily Morehouse (Ben); her son Michael Thomas; and her daughter-in-law Evelyn Mangus. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
