Jennifer Marie Watkins Obituary

Jennifer "Gump" Marie Watkins, age 43 of Darlington, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. She was born in Lafayette on May 20, 1979 to Arthur Watkins & Teresa (Maxwell) Slaubaugh.

Jennifer attended Crawfordsville High School and was involved in retail sales for many years. She was honest, unique, humorous, and always full of life. She loved music, shopping, antiquing, fashion, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her two children, Madisyn Maple and Von Watkins; a grandson, Kingston Onar; one on the way, Kinslee Onar; two siblings, Eva Herrea and Chris Watkins; her mother, Teresa Slaubaugh; and her close family friends, Rebecca Jensen, Shelby Shahan, and Annie Timberlake.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Watkins and a brother, Joe Watkins.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ, 104 Garfield St, in Wingate, Indiana on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 3:00pm till the time of the Celebration of Life at 7:00pm with Pastor Aaron Bridgeham officiating. Memorial donations may be given to the family to assist with funeral cost. Donations can be made online by clicking on the Donation Tab on her obituary page.
