She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Patton and Lois Paddack Patton; her husband Robert Alan Cox; and her siblings, Sarah, Joyce, Jeanette and Jim.
She is survived by: her children, Marshall Cox (Patty) of Newburgh, Carl Cox (Kathy) of Lafayette and Melissa Barker (Don) of Ladoga; and her grandchildren, Josh, Evan, Nicole, Cristy, Connie, Brad and Stephanie. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Darlington Christian Church (202 E Main St, Darlington, IN 47940). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
