He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Avery and Trela Avery (Wilden); and his half-brother Larry Avery. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Whicker of Dayton; his daughter Jerri Kruep (Eric) of Odessa, FL; his sister Denise Jacobs (Stephen) of Sarasota, FL; and his grandchildren, Abigail Kruep and Ryon Kruep.
