Alice V. Brunton Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Geimer and Matilda Geimer (Heimann); her husband John "Jack" Brunton; her sons-in-law, Shawn Rees and Christopher Hardy; and her siblings, Richard, Carl, Robert Geimer, Mary Alberding, Millie Leitz and Agnes Daniels.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Rees, Judy Burckel (David) of Franklin, Barbara Forstall (Mark) of Denham Springs, Becky Thesier (Patrick) of Cicero and Nancy Meiner (James) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her sisters, Eileen Gage and Vera Laurent. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews and several special friends.

A rosary was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:20 AM at the St. Mary's Parish Hall (414 Madison St, Decatur, IN 46733). Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:40 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (414 Madison St, Decatur, IN 46733).

Preferred memorials are to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Masses.
